The candidate selects from prepared questions without prior knowledge of their content.

The oral examination sheet contains 16 questions.

Before beginning the response, the candidate is granted a preparation time determined by the examiner in accordance with the content of the selected question set. During the preparation time, the candidate may take notes and may use them during the oral response. The candidate may request to waive the preparation time (in which case the examination begins immediately).

The candidate must respond independently, without guidance or assistance. If the candidate becomes stuck, examiner may provide help through leading questions; however, the examiner must ensure that the objective methodology and evaluation of the examination are not influenced. Candidates may not communicate with or assist each other in the examination room.

The examination continues until the examiner is able to determine the assessment of the response based on what has been presented.

The use of any aids is prohibited during the examination.
