If a client is unable to attend for any reason, the Examination Center must be informed, and the authority that ordered the examination will be notidied. If a client fails to appear for the examination and cannot justify their absence with a reason beyond their control, they may be brought in by the authorities to ensure attendance at the next examination.
The expert examination is a comprehensive and detailed process that lasts between 3 to 6 hours. It is conducted by a forensic psychologist expert. The expert examination consists of instrumental ability and skill assessments, computer-based psychological tests and psychological tests conducted by the forensic psychologist.
During the examination, clients are responsible for bringing their own food and drinks. Any regularly taken medications that are due at the time of the examination must also be brought. Short breaks may be taken during the examination for meals or smoking if necessary, but these must be indicated by the client.

If a client wishes to know the contents of the expert opinion, a request must be made to the appointing authority or court.
The appointing authority or court will consider the expert opinion when making a decision in the client’s case. However, the opinion is not legally binding on the apppinting authority.
